Part I - Player Clinics with Coaches from outside our local community. 

Friday, Nov 13, 2015.  4:00-5:30 PM at Dumke Field at Westminster College.
Individual registration fee & liability waiver - required. (Space limited)
  • Girls Goalie clinic - with Nicole Morris (Ohio State Univ.) $40.
  • Boys Goalie Clinic - Chris Klaiber (Adams State University) $40.
  • Boys Long Pole clinic - Mike Ehrhardt - Charlotte Hounds (MLL) $40
  • Boys Face Off Clinic $50.

Part II - Player / Parent College Lax Recruiting Seminar

"College Lacrosse: The Attainable Goal!"

Friday Night, Nov 13, 2015
Gore Auditorium
Westminster College, SLC UT
This FREE event is a two part presentation targeting HS Lacrosse players who aspire to play the game in College.  It's open to 8th -12th  graders (boys & girls), and their parents and includes:
  1. A presentation by Coach Paul Putnam of NCSA (45 min), on finding the right Fit!
  2. A panel discussion and open forum with open mike Q&A with a group of local community representatives from the following demographic:
    • College coaches 
    • Recent college grads who've played NCAA lacrosse out of state, then returned to complete their career in Utah.
    • Parents of current out of state college student athletes playing at the NCAA varsity level.
    • Travel Team representatives.
    • NCAA Compliance Officer.
Park under the Lacrosse Stadium and walk due east to find Gore!


However, we recommend you come early as the Gore Auditorium only holds 140 and it will fill up quickly!



Part III - USL Coaches Certification Training - Level I (Boys and Girls)
The Level 1 Clinic brings the Level 1 online course to life through hands-on training facilitated by US Lacrosse-certified trainers. The curriculum is designed to introduce coaches to the responsibilities and philosophies of coaching and how to provide a safe and athlete-centered environment that emphasizes positive growth and sportsmanship. You’ll acquire the tools to teach rules, basic individual skills and basic team concepts to beginning players of all ages. This baseline training is relevant for all lacrosse coaches, regardless of experience.
Coaches must complete a Level 1 clinic to attain Level 1 certification.
   The Course fee is  $75.
  • The Utah Youth League offers to cover the cost of this course for active Head Coaches.  
  • Contact them League at, (801) 590-9950 to get discount code. 
  • The Girls HS League has Education Stipend money for each team which will cover one coach from each team.  A program with two squads (Var/JV) has two stipends to spend.  Contact Commissioner Andrew Davies to  find out more.
  • There are limited slots (40) available for this event.  (20 men's game / 20 girls game) 
The two clinic sessions will be held on consecutive days at:
Westminster College
Gore School of Business (Room 106) and on Dumke Athletic Field

Session B : Saturday, November 14, 2015  from 8:00 - 11:00 AM

Part IV - Annual Coaches and Parent Rep Education Convention

Theme:  Utah Lacrosse 2016 -"It's All About the Kids!"

This year we will be hosting our Convention on campus at the central location of

Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT.   

Both the Boys and Girls HS leagues are covering the cost for representatives from all HS teams to attend this fantastic event.  Discounts for group registrations also offered for all coaches not covered by the HS league sponsorship.   Single attendee fee $45,  Group of two fee $75 (@37.50), Group of three $100 (@$33.33) & Four or more @ $30.   (First 150 registered get a cool Utah Lacrosse 2016 tee shirt.

The convention includes speakers from STX, USL National Trainers, Australian National Team, MLL Players representing the Charlotte Hounds, Baltimore BayHawks, Denver Outlaws, and Long Island Lizards.   Coaches from Adams State University, University of Utah, Utah Valley University, Westminster College and High School Programs: Park City, Skyline, and more.

Over thirty Seminars plus filed demonstrations and much more.
